Without doubt the best roast dinner! I've eaten here a few times now since it's been refurbished and every time the food is outstanding. Twice we've had Sunday lunch and a couple of times the weekday menu and each time it's been fantastic. The decor and atmosphere are gorgeous and the staff are all really nice though it's incredibly busy. On that note you will most likely need to book on a Sunday as its obviously very popular. For 18 quid the roast is beautiful. Very good quality, tasty meat. Lots of FRESH veg and you can pay to add gorgeous cauliflower cheese. We literally cannot fault the place.

Only live a stones throw away but donβt really go in very often but had a Christmas Eve meal here tonight and although most of the Christmas menu was now sold out we still had a lovely meal off both Christmas and regular menus. The the Korean chicken and salt and pepper chicken wings were amazing. Very hot and spicy but full of flavour. I had salmon wellington off the Christmas menu which was very moist and succulent. Husband had a great big fish and chips. Couldβnt fit a pudding. Pub was pack d and itβs so good to see a local pub / restaurant thriving in these difficult times. We will be back as I say !! We are actually neighbours. Merry Christmas
βββββ We visited the Hare and Hounds in Foulridge for a meal with a party of 14 and were so impressed from start to finish. The service was excellent, with staff who were polite, attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly for such a large group. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and welcoming, and the whole place is spotless. It is the kind of place that makes you feel instantly comfortable. We all left happy, full and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend, a real gem and we will definitely be returning
I wanted to leave a review after having such a positive experience here, meal was honestly one of the best Iβve had out in a while . Excellent food, service was brilliant big shout out to Lewis and David for making us so welcome and a big plus for me was the music not being played too loud. Comfortable space which is beautifully decorated. Thanks so much would highly recommend a visit here
The Hare and Hounds has recently undergone a refurbishment and it has certainly paid off. The restaurant is very comfortable and the environment pleasant. The staff are friendly and efficient. This is my third visit in about 6 week's and it just gets better. The food is excellent and to add to it there is always a different specials menu. I would highly recommend this place.
Beautiful Sunday meal at Hare & Hounds Inn, very tasty, beatifully presented and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere as well. I would certainly recommend it.
Waa a great place to stay te only thing that was missed was no milk for a coffee or tea that's it, the breakfast was fantastic proper bacon everything done right great staff will be coming back again.
